Created in 1971 by Verner Panton in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, the Panthella 320 table lamp stands out as one of the designer’s most iconic models, whose organic form reflects the softest of light. Verner Panton wanted to create a standing lamp whose base and shade acted as a reflector, combining everything with the organic shapes for which the Danish designer is renowned. Fifty years later, Louis Poulsen issued this version with a diameter of 32 cm, halfway between Panthella mini and Panthella Table Lamp 400.
The luminaire emits a soft, glare-free, muted light. The versions with metal shades direct the light directly downwards, creating a pleasant glow thanks to the white-painted shade on the inside and the reflective effect of the trumpet-shaped base. The opalised acrylic version of the Panthella table lamp generates a diffuse, comfortable lighting atmosphere thanks to its transparency, the downward reflection created by the inner shade, and the reflection created by the trumpet-shaped base.
