Inspired by the power of shapes and how they impact their surroundings, the Slant lamp, designed by the Japanese team Branch, has a bold, graphic aesthetic that takes possession of the space it occupies. Edited by Hay, the Slant lamp features a simple tilted cylinder shape with a weighted base to maintain a perfectly balanced angle. All the components are concealed inside the lamp to maintain its sleek silhouette on the outside. The Slant design lamp is made from aluminium with a satin finish that gives a highly tactile surface. It also has an acrylic diffuser that distributes the light gently.
