Minipistrello is a mini version of the famous Pipistrello, a design classic designed in 1966 by Gae Aulenti. The queen of Italian design for over 50 years, the Pipistrello Martinelli Luce lamp features a metal tulip base, telescopic brushed stainless steel arm and opaline white methacrylate diffuser. The Minipipistrello Martinelli Luce is a table lamp with diffused light. It has an integrated LED source and a dimmer switch. The design of the diffuser is inspired by the wings of the pipistrello, the European bat from which it takes its name. The shape of the flared base expands in height, widening at the ribs of the diffuser like the wings of a bat. The diffused light that the Minipistrello Martinelli Luce reflects and the ingenuity of its telescopic arm have helped build the success it enjoys today.
