Description
In the early 1950s, Jean Prouvé designed several stools that he named by assigning them different numbers. With a seat in the shape of a tractor saddle – devoid of holes – the Tabouret N° 307 recalls the seats in the Aix-Marseille University amphitheatre that Prouvé designed at the same time. Originally designed in aluminium sheet, this model is reissued by Vitra with a solid oak seat. The interplay between the solid wood seat and the refined tubular steel legs creates a fascinating contrast. Thanks to its elegant simplicity and two available finishes, Tabouret N° 307 is at home in any room of the house.
