Description
With its soft and enveloping shapes, the Tactile sofa by Baxter wants to highlight the tactile properties of leather, while developing a particular attention to detail. Designed by Vincenzo De Cotiis, the Tactile sofa is deconstructed and broken down into two elementary parts. The seat and backrest become independent elements and a different padding emphasizes the distinction between the two elements. They are attached to each other only at the points necessary for its stability, so that they hardly seem to be in contact with each other, giving an airy side to the sofa, despite its generous dimensions. This used Tactile sofa is in very good condition. It may have some slight signs of use, such as natural folds in the leather and discreet superficial micro-marks, consistent with careful use. These slight traces of life do not alter the comfort or aesthetics of this iconic piece by Baxter.
