Designed in 1957 and produced the following year in two unique examples for the Milan Chamber of Commerce, the suspension Saliscendi is now being reissued with LED sources. This adjustable metal suspension with double emission was designed by the brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. Produced by Stilnovo , the suspension Saliscendi illustrates the modernity of Italian design in the 1950s. Salicendi has an original structure: the height of its luminous body and reflective disc are adjustable thanks to a system of pulleys, ensuring perfectly adjustable lighting. The two elements, which move in opposite directions, emit direct or indirect light depending on the distance between them.
