When Poul Henningsen designed the iconic PH Artichoke for Copenhagen’s Langelinie Pavillonen restaurant in 1958, he opted for copper slats with a pink finish on the inside. With this combination, the PH Artichoke is exceptionally warm and reflects the light from its masked light source superbly. The PH Artichoke produces soft, glare-free lighting. Its complex design and structure ensure that the light is evenly distributed throughout the room. Edited by Louis Poulsen, the PH Artichoke suspension is now considered a design classic.
