The Leimu table lamp created by Norwegian designer Magnus Pettersen for IIttala combines a strong concrete base with a delicate glass diffuser. The use of two such contrasting materials is typical of the designer’s work. The light created by the coppery colour of the glass adds a warm atmosphere wherever it is placed. The hand-blown glass gives each lamp a unique character, creating a precious and very sophisticated presence on a coffee table or in the bedroom.
