In reference to Helios the Greek god of the sun, Elio, imagined by Yabu Pushelberg and published by Tribu, aims to capture a universally familiar and fleeting moment: the sunset. Elio captures its brilliant, silky hues in the sky at dusk. The hand-woven Elio collection materialises in a slightly rounded silhouette that opens inwards to create a cocoon effect, adorned in the subtle, natural colours of a woven Tricord back. The armchairs in the Elio collection have been designed with a natural teak structure that supports the seat, mainly thanks to the back legs. Welcoming and comfortable, braiding combines traditional textile techniques with contemporary dyeing solutions to create a material effect that perfectly imitates the delicate glow of light. The weave is available in linen, wenge and moss.
