Italian sculptor Harry Bertoia experimented in 1952 with bending metal rods into functional sculpture forms. The result is a collection of chairs that have become design icons. Despite its apparent lightness, the Bertoia chair is very robust. This functional sculpture fits perfectly into any type of interior, in a dining room, kitchen or bedroom. The Bertoia chair can also be used outdoors in its white or black rilsan version. The Knoll logo is engraved on the base of the chair.
