With Moon, design studio Space Copenhagen has created for Gubi a collection of organically shaped tables designed for both domestic and public spaces. The beautiful oak table-top is mounted on a half-moon or full-moon shaped base with a bevelled surface, serving as both structure and ornament. The interaction between these two elements gives the table Moon a simple yet strong identity for design. The result is an elegant table with clear references to traditional Danish carpentry, where homage is paid to the marriage between design and craftsmanship.
