Description
The Eames Plastic Side Chair is the updated version of the legendary Fiberglass Chair by Charles and Ray Eames. Designed in collaboration with Zenith Plastics for the ‘Low Cost Furniture Design’ competition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1950, it was the first industrially manufactured plastic chair. Produced by Vitra, the Eames Plastic Chair PSCC (Pivot Sidechair Cast base on Castors) is equipped with castors. The organic lines of the shell, which provides excellent comfort, combined with the swivel base transform the Side Chair into an office chair.
