The collection of Prunier crockery is the result of collaboration between Cassina, Ginori 1735 and the Le Corbusier Foundation. Designed by Le Corbusier in 1961 for the eponymous London restaurant, each white porcelain piece is delicately hand-decorated with the original motif of intertwined hands, inspired by the tapestry « Les Mains » created in 1951. The set from the Prunier collection, comprising a plain plate, a soup plate, a dessert plate and a coffee cup with saucer, embodies the taste for form advocated by Le Corbusier. This re-edition by Cassina in collaboration with Ginori 1735, sold as a set of 2, combines the modernist design genius of Le Corbusier with the Italian craftsmanship excellence infused by Cassina and Ginori 1735, creating a table steeped in history and timeless elegance.
