To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the iconic PK22 armchair, Fritz Hansen has developed Haze, an exclusive aniline leather with a subtle leather-grain effect, created in collaboration with the Danish leather manufacturer Sørensen. Sourced from the finest hides, Haze leather undergoes a special treatment that gives it a velvety feel and a natural matt finish.Produced by Fritz Hansen, the understated and elegant PK22 armchair perfectly embodies the work of Poul Kjaerholm and his quest to combine ideal form with industrial design. Designed in 1956 and produced by Fritz Hansen, this armchair is now a design classic. The stainless steel frame has its origins in his graduation project, the ‘Element’ chair, completed at the Copenhagen School of Applied Arts. The chair’s precise lines and low, open silhouette make it a natural choice for soothing living spaces.
