Designed by Le Corbusier in 1963 for the European Parliament in Chandigarh, India, the Parliament floor lamp is a symbol of 1950s modernism. Nemo Lighting is offering a re-edition of the famous luminaire inspired by the industrial lighting of the time. The lamp has an elegant shape and high-performance functionality: Parliament has a steerable diffuser with two open symmetrical cones for direct and indirect lighting. In addition to the first three two-tone combinations of the painted aluminium diffusers, the yellow-green version of Parliament is featured in the « claviers de couleurs » chromatic system developed by Le Corbusier. The internal diffusers are finished in lime white and the stem in matt grey. The Parliament floor lamp edition from Nemo Lighting is perfectly compatible with all interior styles, and blends very well into the decor of a living room or office. Combined with a sofa or armchair, it creates a cosy reading corner. Parliament has a dimmer on cable, to produce the desired ambience.
