Swoon is a small, comfortable and sophisticated armchair designed for both public and private spaces. Designed by Space Copenhagen for Fredericia, the armchair elegantly combines a leather- or fabric-covered shell with soft cushions. Characteristic of Space Copenhagen’s work, the form of the chair is both organic and contemporary. This armchair was born out of specific needs relating to the design of modern interiors. In various hotel and restaurant projects, the designers had difficulty finding an armchair that fit perfectly, so they designed the Swoon collection. An often overlooked feature of chair design is a backrest with adequate support. Swoon has been carefully developed to provide support, while delivering an immediate sensation of relaxation.
