Description
Designed by Adam Cornish, Trinity is a collection of baskets with sculptural lines made from stainless steel or coloured with epoxy resin. It is inspired by the structure of the shell of the Nautilus mollusc, characterised by the succession of new layers that are added to the shell each year, producing a light, poetic spiral. The young Australian designer wanted to combine the beauty of a natural structure with modern manufacturing processes. Produced by Alessi, this basket obtains its shape from a process of laser perforation of a thin sheet of steel, which is then shaped mechanically. It’s a challenge that’s sure to look great on any dining room table.
