Ribes is an outdoor sofa designed by Antonio Citterio for the brand B&B Italia in 2019. This modular seating system stands out for its exceptional versatility, careful attention to materials, and a refined color palette. Its structure is based on a futon supported by flexible fiberglass slats, mounted on an aluminum frame. Depending on personal preference, two styles of armrests or backrests can be added: one made of woven polypropylene fiber, the other a bolster-style cushion. The setup is completed by seat cushions resembling comfortable mattresses and various types of back and armrest cushions, all filled with a new padding that gives the piece a particularly warm look. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces, the Ribes outdoor sofa integrates seamlessly into verandas, shaded patios, loggias, or covered terraces, embodying a fluid and contemporary approach to open living areas.
