With Moon, design studio Space Copenhagen has created for Gubi a collection of organically shaped tables designed for both domestic and public spaces. The magnificent oak tabletop is set on a base in the shape of a half-moon or full moon, with a bevelled surface for structure and decoration. The interaction between these two elements gives the table Moon a simple yet strong identity for design. The result is an elegant table with clear references to traditional Danish carpentry, where homage is paid to the marriage between design and craftsmanship.
