Designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Vitra, Softshell armchair is an elegant and versatile chair. It is highly comfortable and can be placed in a conference room or office. Its soft, enveloping lines and generous, supple padding create both excellent levels of comfort and a sleek, appealing design. The chair legs are made of polyamide and the upholstery is made of Plano fabric. The vertical slats in the shell, which are hidden under the upholstery, adapt to the shape of the user to ensure optimum seating comfort even over long periods of time. Softshell evokes both conviviality and serenity, enabling it to be used in residential spaces around a dining room, or in public settings.
