Catifa 46 is a cornerstone of Arper’s identity — a lasting icon that introduced a new design language from the very beginning. Its latest evolutions reflect its continuous ability to adapt to changing needs. Today, Catifa 46 has been reinterpreted with a shell made from 100% recycled plastic, sourced from a blend of post-consumer and post-industrial waste. With this new material, a fresh texture and color palette emerge, inspired by sustainable architecture: exposed, authentic, and naturally textured materials that bring depth and warmth to the shell. More than just a visual experience, it is also tactile. On the back of the shell, subtle shades blend with a unique texture that recalls the original two-tone innovation that first defined Catifa, adding even more character and identity to Catifa (RE) 46.
