A universal wooden chair, Atelier Chair was designed for the new restaurant at Stockholm’s National museum, which evokes an artist’s studio. Commissioned by the museum as part of an initiative to promote contemporary Nordic design, the Atelier chair is compact, lightweight and stackable. Its slender proportions and geometric lines create a striking aesthetic. Simple and straightforward, the chair has elegant details such as the linking bars that hug the front legs. Edited by Artek, the comfortable, versatile chair is equally at home in an office, dining table, meeting room, restaurant or auditorium. The Atelier chair is designed by Stockholm-based TAF Studio.
