Italian sculptor Harry Bertoia experimented with bending metal rods into functional sculptural forms in 1952. The result is a collection of chairs that have become design icons. This simple and elegant bench is included in the collection. It features a black or white lacquered wooden slatted seat resting on a metal frame.
