Edited by Lumina, DOT is a minimalist suspension that looks like a floating disc of light. This is an assembly of two parallel discs connected by a metal rod. The reflector has a super ‘matt’ white finish, while the smaller disc contains a ring of LEDs that reflect light back to the larger reflector disc. A custom-designed heat pipe transfers the heat from the light source to the heat sink hidden in the reflector. Dot presents an innovative approach to lens technology and heat dissipation. Above a dining table or bar, the suspension Dot can be used on its own or as a composition of several elements.
