Description
Floor Lamp was designed by architect and designer Alvar Aalto in 1954. Produced by Artek, the lampshade is made of hand-riveted brass strips painted in white. These thin strips of painted metal prevent glare and give off light evenly. The lampshade’s asymmetrical shape is reminiscent of an angel’s wing. The base and stem of the Floor Lamp are upholstered in black leather, and the 250cm-long cable is made of white plastic. It provides soft, warm light in living rooms and bedrooms.
