Designed by Nendo, Drop is a collection of open shelves available in several sizes and colours to suit all styles and needs. Produced by Cappellini, this designer storage furniture is made of laser-cut metal and lacquered in understated colours. The originality of this piece lies in its studious use of a range of colours inspired by natural elements reminiscent of Japan, from the pink of cherry blossom to the warm grey of stream stones. The distinguishing feature of the Drop storage units is the cube that seems to be balancing on top, which gives a sculptural feel to these shelves, typical of Nendo’s clean-lined and meticulous design style.
