Inspired by classic bistro furniture, the Belleville collection takes its name from the Parisian district where designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec’s studio is located. The series consists of contemporary chairs and tables with a dynamic and refined look, but with a certain tradition. The chair, available with or without armrests, is made up of two elements: a polypropylene or plywood shell, which is fixed to a polyamide support structure. With its slender silhouette and sturdy composition, the Belleville chair, published by Vitra, is equally at home in a domestic space – a kitchen or dining room – or in a public place, such as a restaurant. The plastic version is also suitable for outdoor use.
