In 1945, Charles and Ray Eames created a plywood toy elephant that, at the time, had never been mass-produced. The new, synthetic version produced by Vitra is now accessible to children, for whom it was originally intended. The small version, with the same design but on a smaller scale, is available in many colours. The Eames Elephant can be used as a toy, even outdoors, or as a playful decorative object in a child’s room.
